Hi!  I’m John Apsey!  Let me tell you a little about myself…

So first, I appreciate you stopping by my website and I assume that if you’re reading this it’s because you want to know a little about me.  To begin, I was born in a small town in North East Texas just before the Oklahoma border called Van Alstyne. That’s all I know about Texas because I was just a little dude when my parents brought me down to America’s weiner to grow up a Florida Man.

In Florida I fell in love with this adorable nerd named Katie who started her own photography business named Catherine Ann Photography. We got an Australian Shepherd, named him Falkor (name that movie), starting working together and moved the business to the ever so beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. If you’re a Dog lover you know that one is never enough. So we added two more Aussies to the mix. Zelda (named after Zelda Fitzgerald) and Blue (named after the Raptor in Jurassic World). When I’m not behind the lens or sitting behind my computer you can find me hacking up a Golf Course, trying to catch fish, getting destroyed by children playing video games online, giving Falkor PTSD from yelling at the TV during Hockey Games, or having adult beverages with Friends. You won’t miss me on shoot day, I’ll be the 80’s soul in a 90’s Japanese Van with a Floral Hat and a Fanny Pack. Cowabunga!
